Black Cat Scraps-Oct31st -(Part 1 of 4) How to use the Slice like a Stam...

Supplies used:
Slice (Making Memories) - Basic Shapes with seasons
Spray Mount adhesive (3M)
Spatula (Slice)
White copy paper
Black Cardstock (Recollections)  4 5/8" x 6 3/4"
OCT cut at size 2 Shadow
              31 cut at size 2 1/2 normal
ST cut at size 1 1/2 normal

I love the rich color black the Recollections has. this company has a wide variety of colors and also makes cardstock in 12" x12".

This video is Part 1 of a 4 part series. In this video I teach how to use the Slice machine, by Making Memories, using the same concept as a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. Cut a template image on scrap paper taking note of the placement/position of the paper as well as where you place your Slice down to make your cut. I recommend to be consistent and never vary as to avoid forgetting where and what  which was which. Mark where you want the image to be cup on your project with the negative of the template, then with the template back in place slide your project under the template, line up your marks with the negative outline of your cut image, and doing so you have place the cut you want to make exactly where the image from the template cut was made.
To keep your  paper firm on your glass cutting plate use a spray on adhesive like the spray mount from 3M. I have used this and It works great and I have only used one spray application so far and I have made at least 50 cuts already and the adhesive is still very tacky!
At the end of this video is a sneak peak to videos 2 and 3.
