What is great about stamping on vellum is you don't always need to use a water mark pad like Versa Mark to get embossing powder to stick. Vellum is so slick that most inks, even StazOn takes longer to dry unlike other cardstocks.
What is great about the Encore! stamp Pad is that the ink is so juicy that it acts like Vera Mark does. When using it to emboss say with a clear embossing powder you can achieve a raised glossy finish and have the ink provide the color as opposed to the embossing powder, provides more versatility!
